About Us

The Sinneave Family Foundation (Sinneave) works with individuals, communities,

and organizations to improve education, employment, and housing outcomes for

autistic youth and adults. We believe that investing resources in the period of life

in which youth transition to adulthood provides significant and lasting returns.

Our goal is to see autistic Albertans find success in their educational pursuits, be

able to get and keep a job, and live as independently as possible as valued

members of their communities.

Our Information & Navigation service is open to everyone and the best way

to learn about our programs and other services, such as Launch + Skills and

Skills Groups.

Our Launch + Skills program is an individualized life skills coaching program

designed to help autistic individuals aged 15 years and older, who are ready to

pursue goals in employment, education, or independent living.

Sinneave Connects is an online learning hub designed to reduce barriers to

information for autistic and neurodivergent youth and adults, their parents,

caregivers and guardians, and professionals who work with autistic youth and

adults. With a free account, you can access a collection of curated resources

at your fingertips.

EmploymentWorks (EW) is a proven job readiness training program that

combines classroom learning and support with hands-on experience through

job sampling in real workplace environments to autistic adults and people

with disabilities.

EW is currently offered in two formats: In-Person and Online via Self-Paced

eLearning program. To learn more about each program and which learning

style may be right for you, we invite you to watch the short video below or
