1974. Renfrew is a Designated Special Education School, fully accredited

by Alberta Education; four centres throughout Calgary serve more than 550

children who are registered in programs and services.

In-house programs include preschool and an Elementary Education Program,

Integrated Services for Children with Motor Disabilities, and the Specialized

Services Program. The transdisciplinary therapy team working in these

programs include teachers, early learning specialists, child development

facilitators, speech language pathologists, assistive technology specialists,

occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, therapy assistants,

Each year, Renfrew’s Community Services department provides psychology,

speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy assessment

and intervention services to children in various school jurisdictions, both public

and private, in Calgary and area.

Renfrew’s Assessment and Therapy Services is accessible by Renfrew families
